Protecting Businesses and Organizations through Technology

A Future in Security & Cyber Defense

With an anticipated 1.4 million computing jobs over the next five years and only 400,000 computer science students to fill the openings, the opportunities for students with an interest in security and cyber defense have skyrocketed.

At Thomas College, we’re committed to giving students more than a degree. As the only recognized Global Academic Partner of (ISC)² in Maine, our program gives students a springboard to in-demand careers by preparing them for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam.

The CISSP certification is a leading credential in the information security industry. With the certification, graduates can work in businesses and organization to ensure computer information systems are kept secure from potential cyber-attacks.

And in our program, you won’t just learn about cyber security—you’ll practice and develop the skills you will use every day in your new career.
