Literacy in Learning Technology

By the time you graduate from Thomas College, you’ll be literate in the technology that makes your field move forward. Information technology is a tool in your education, and here you’ll have the chance to learn hands-on. Thomas students gain proficiency in the use of tools that employers value, including work with presentation equipment and programs, projectors, scanners, video cameras, DVD-RW drives, and multimedia equipment.

Our campus is completely wireless, and there are more than 160 workstations on campus to support students. We support all major operating systems (Windows, iOS, and Linux) with dedicated servers. Students have access to Internet, email, an intranet system, Moodle, Google Apps for Education, and Office 365. We also offer MyThomas, which gives you easy online access to your class schedule, grades, student account, and more.

Information Services has seven full-time staff members and 17 students on staff. We’re your hub for questions and answers, whether you need a reference desk, media services, or a help desk for computer and technology-related issues. We’re here to help, and to make sure you have everything you need to get connected.
