Katie Cirone ’13, M.B.A. ’13 – Finance

Recently named Business Manager of Pharmacy at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. She had this to say about how Thomas helped prepare her – “I knew I wanted to study business, but that could mean so many different career paths. I really had no idea which path to choose. The small class sizes and personal interaction with the incredible professors really helped me realize that healthcare finance would be the perfect fit for me.”

Michael Hachey ’86, M.B.A. ’97 – Accounting

Recently named SVP & CFO at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. Along with meeting his wife at Thomas, Mike had this to say about his Thomas education which assisted him in his professional growth – “As I get further into my career, and with my children in the throes of college and post-baccalaureate programs, my appreciation for the foundation that Thomas’s Accounting program provided only grows!”

Brittany Oxley ’09 – Management

Recently named Store Manager for Hannaford’s Skowhegan, ME location. Brittany graduated from Thomas and earned a position in Hannaford’s highly competitive Retail Management Training Program. Brittany had this to say about how Thomas helped prepare her – “Thomas was a great fit for me because of the small class sizes and personable faculty who wanted to see me succeed both professionally and personally.”

Shane Marques ’08 – Management

Recently named Director of Optimization at HMS Holdings near Dallas, TX. Since his Thomas graduation, Shane had worked for Lockheed Martin near Orlando, FL, and has earned two masters degrees. Shane had this to say about how Thomas helped prepare him – “Thomas provided a solid foundation for my career. The knowledgeable educators, helpful and courteous administration, and small class sizes fostered an excellent learning environment.”

Wesley Stevens ’92, ’94 – Business Administration

Recently named Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Bangor Savings Bank in the greater Portland, ME area. Wes has worked in the Maine banking industry since his Thomas graduation, having earned multiple awards. He had this to say about how Thomas helped prepare him – “Thomas College is dedicated to preparing students for the future, and I am extremely thankful that I chose this educational institution to help prepare me to be a part of a company with such a strong commitment to Maine.”


Ashley Cust ’11, M.B.A. ’11 – Marketing Management

Recently named Marketing Coordinator for Retail Stores Division at Kent Nutrition Group based out of the greater Portland, ME area. She had this to say about how Thomas helped prepare her – “Thomas College gave me the leadership skills and confidence to find this amazing position! I came into college not knowing what I was going to do but open to learning all that I could. I joined clubs, organizations, and took many classes which taught me as much about myself as I learned inside in the classroom.
