This summer, basketball standout and business/sport management major Zach MacKinnon ‘20 is interning with the family business – MacKinnon Property Management, which his dad, Michael, owns.

Zach is working as the resort manager of Beach Dreams Cottages in Wells, ME.

At 21-years-old, Zach oversees 230 cottages and 10 employees.

“I’ve really enjoyed being in charge of everyone and organizing work for others,” he said.

Zach says his business classes and experience at Thomas College has helped prepare him for this management role for the summer.

He’s gaining the skills he needs for post-graduation success.

Zach will be a senior at Thomas College in the fall.
