Need-Based Financial Aid

A private college education represents a significant investment. Our Guaranteed Tuition and Guaranteed Job Program are part of our partnership with you—we promise to help keep college costs in check, and we guarantee that you’ll find a job in your field within 90 days of graduation. At a time when nearly 60% of public college students take six years to graduate, Thomas gives you a head start on your career.

Need-based scholarships are available to all students who qualify based on the application for financial aid. These awards may include grants, which are gifts, and a federal work-study job, which offers students the valuable opportunity to earn money and gain professional experience on campus while attending Thomas College. Students attending Thomas may qualify for the following types of need-based grants:

  • Grants from Thomas College
  • Federal Pell Grants
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
  • State of Maine or other state grants
  • A federal work-study job

To qualify for need-based financial aid, apply to Thomas College and complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA). There’s no additional application, and all of these awards are renewable every year you study at here as long as you meet the basic criteria.
