Alumni on the Move: Mike Salisbury ‘92 Web Director | August 26, 2019

Congratulations to Mike Salisbury who recently became the new COO of DAVO Technologies in Westbrook, Maine.

Mike has 25 years of experience in technical support and administration.

At Thomas College, Mike studied business management and accounting. He enjoyed the small classes and the ability to connect with professors and classmates.

“I felt like I got a very practical education at Thomas that I could put to good use immediately upon graduation,” he said.

At Thomas College, beyond Mike’s practical business education, he learned how to connect with people and communicate in a business setting – which he says is crucial to success.

“Thomas inspired me to really make a difference in Maine. I love this state but sometimes finding employment, especially in technology, can be difficult. However, Thomas has a great Maine-focused mission to really help the young people get a great education and support Maine-based businesses,” said Mike. “At DAVO, we are really looking to do something very special and I am very proud we are doing it in Maine with Maine-based resources.”

Mike is a proud Thomas alum – he stays involved and comes to campus often, especially since his son, Isaac, is in his final year at Thomas.

“It has been very fun to see Isaac progress through his Thomas journey. Thomas has been able to help Isaac find success in the classroom and on campus… and support him through times he has really had to dig in and face a challenge,” said Mike. “He has had some great internships with the Thomas Athletic Department, the Maine State Golf Association and Portland Sea Dogs. I can’t believe he will be graduating soon! I am very proud of all he has accomplished.”
