The Centers of Innovation at Thomas College develop and lead offerings that increase the employability of our current students, as well as that of other learners (high school students, alumni, community members, and employees of our business partners). Our faculty and staff design and engage learners in an authentic experience, one that has been grounded in research and validation from current employers in order to ensure the skills that will be developed will be both highly-sought after and valuable in today’s current job market. Our offerings vary from short career exploration experiences to more robust professional credentialing pathways. Each share a common thread of ensuring the learners are in a highly supportive and personalized environment, and because of this the Centers of Innovation are able to help learners at any stage of their career development to find success in their professional lives.
The Professional and Career Development department helps students prepare themselves to successfully enter the workforce with the skills they need to secure and retain successful internships and employment. Areas of focus include workshops, career fairs, 1:1 coaching and more.
