Digital Media Degree Overview

As our world continues to become more digitally-connected, demand grows in the marketplace for talented people with a diverse set of skills – technical writing, media design, web application development, video production, project management – and those who can produce and manage digital media on a variety of platforms.

Thomas College’s new Digital Media program combines content from the Communications and Computer Science degrees to produce highly qualified graduates prepared to succeed in digital media careers in a variety of sectors, as well as in graduate programs of related fields.

The Digital Media program includes two tracks – Web Development and Multimedia Design – to provide you with the flexibility to pursue digital media courses that best fit your interests. Whether you are interested in graphic and multimedia design, user experience design, or web application development, your courses and projects will prepare you for your career.

The Program emphasizes creativity, technical expertise, and ability to communicate effectively in teams of diverse backgrounds. Coursework is project-based and simulates a variety of business environments and design challenges so graduates best meet the needs of employers, customers, and society.
