The Worthington Foundation Scholarship is committed to making a college education affordable for students in Maine. We are proud to partner with the Worthington Foundation to provide this incredible scholarship opportunity to eligible students who attend Thomas College.
For those who are eligible, the Worthington Foundation Scholarship awards recipients $2,000 per semester for up to 8 semesters.
To be eligible, students must be:
- Graduating in Spring 2021 from a Maine public high school, or public portion of a Maine public/private high school in Knox, Waldo, Lincoln, Washington or Hancock counties;
- Must have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as shown on the Student Aid report from the FAFSA of $15,000 or less;
- Must have achieved a high school GPA of B or greater (or the equivalent);
- Must enroll full-time (12 credits or more) at Thomas College.
To apply to this scholarship, students must fill out the application form including the essay, upload a copy of their Student Aid Report (SAR), which can be found at www.fafsa.gov, and have a financial award letter on file from Thomas College.
