ResearchGate: social networking site for scientists to share research, particularly those engaged in broadly scientific research.
Academia.EDU: Academia.edu is a platform for academics to share research papers. The company’s mission is to accelerate the world’s research.Academics use Academia.edu to share their research, monitor deep analytics around the impact of their research, and track the research of academics they follow. Over 53 million academics have signed up to Academia.edu, adding 19 million papers. Academia.edu attracts over 36 million unique visitors a month.
Researcher ID: On the ResearcherID website, authors are asked to link their ResearcherID to their own articles. In this way, they can also keep their publication list up to date and online.
ORCID: ORCID provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and, through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities ensuring that your work is recognized.
