Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce and Thomas College Host November Business Breakfast on Social Media Web Director | October 18, 2017

WATERVILLE, October 2017 – Thomas College and the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Breakfast on Customer Service: Seven Ways to Engage Your Target Audiences on Social Media. The breakfast will be held on Thursday, November 9, from 7:15 to 9:00 a.m. in the Spann Student Commons Summit Room on Thomas College’s campus at 180 West River Road in Waterville.

Greg Glynn, of Nancy Marshall Communications, will cover tips on how businesses and organizations can better engage their target audiences on social media and e-mail by seeing the world from their eyes and also how to measure the effectiveness of your communications.

Glynn is an account supervisor at Nancy Marshall Communications in Augusta. Glynn specializes in coordinating media coverage, news conferences and press releases; all things broadcast; public relations and marketing; and conducts NMC’s media training sessions. Before Nancy Marshall Communications, Greg was the play-by-play broadcaster and VP of communications for the Portland Pirates hockey team. Glynn is accredited in public relations and received his Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.

Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce holds monthly informative presentations on a variety of educational business topics at Thomas College’s Spann Student Commons. The cost of the Business Breakfast is $18 for members, $25 at the door & for non-members. Breakfast is included with the reservation.
