Biography:
Born in San Cristóbal, Venezuela. Graduated from Universidad Católica “Andrés Bello”, Táchira with B. Ed in Physics and Mathematics, Master of Science Degree from Vanderbilt University in Physics in 1984 and Doctor of Engineering degree from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2000. Postdoctoral fellow in UMass Lowell until 2001.
