
WATERVILLE, MAINE, December 2019 — High school students from across the state competed in a five-part STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics) competition on Saturday, December 7, at Thomas College in Waterville. Competitions included robotics, cybersecurity, crime scene investigation, innovation and League of Legends.
Piscataquis Community High School students (from left to right in photo) Faith Ohlson, Joshua Oldham, Tyler Libby, and Sam Maines, mentored by Thomas College student Meghan Cousins, won the two-foot trophy on Saturday. This is the first-time students from Piscataquis have won this competition.
