Child Care Management Degree Overview
This program prepares you to own, operate, and/or direct a high-quality private or public child care center and education center and/or business. It includes opportunities for field work and internships with Educare Central Maine, family-based or center-based child care, and nonprofit agencies in the child care industry. Our courses blend child development, Maine child care licensure, marketing, entrepreneurship, and small business management. Students will also network with early care professionals by participating in local, state, and national early childhood public policy forums.
This program does not require state certification.
