Dear Thomas College Community,

The leadership of Thomas College understands and shares that the Novel Coronavirus, known as COVID-19, is a major health concern for our state and our community.

Thomas College Health Services is working closely with the Maine Center for Disease Control (CDC) to provide students, faculty, and staff the most up to date information on this rapidly changing situation.

Members of our Emergency Response Team meet regularly to monitor the Maine CDC recommendations and review our response plans for our college community.

As of this date and time, there is no confirmed community spread of COVID-19 in Maine which means the virus is not yet being spread from person-to person in our state.

Given the rapidly evolving nature of this situation, obtaining information from a reliable source is important for self-education and community safety. For accurate and up to date information regarding the status of the COVID-19 virus, we recommend you visit the Maine.gov website: https://www.maine.gov/dhhs/mecdc.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns that you may have. We look forward to partnering with you through this time.
