Dr. Ryan Wheaton is not just an important advocate for his students in their endeavors; he also supports his fellow colleagues. Ryan is a true believer in all things Thomas College and wants to make sure everyone – students, faculty, staff – are set up for success.

Ryan, a four-year employee of the college, is an assistant professor of management. He is being recognized for his exceptional customer service, originality, compassion, dedication, Thomas Pride, and positivity.

“Ryan believes in our mission and supports his students through personal attention,” said one colleague. “He also makes himself available for students in his supports of outside the classroom activities and events. He also engages in many of the recruiting events. Ryan supports his peers. As an example, he volunteered to serve as the faculty representative on our health benefits review team.”

Ryan is the epitome of a Thomas professor: close personal attention to making sure his students succeed.

“Ryan is incredibly student orientated. He is constantly assisting the students and working with them both in and out of the classroom. He has garnered incredible respect from them,” said another colleague.

“Ryan carries this effort with his colleagues as well. He is one of the first to offer assistance and has an incredibly positive attitude. He is a great asset to Thomas College.”
