Campus Mail Room

Mail Room Information

The campus mail room at Thomas College is located in the Ayotte Center Administrative Building. It is a full-service mail center, selling both local and international stamps for letters and postage for packages.

We are very excited to welcome students back to campus this fall!

If you get a notification that you have a package in the mailroom, please pick it up as soon as possible. We just don’t have the storage space available to accommodate the avalanche of items that will be coming.

And remember, if you cannot pick up your items, you may send a representative to pick them up for you. Please email the mailroom first to tell us who will be picking up your things. Thank you for your help with this. We greatly appreciate it – and we appreciate you!  Welcome back!

ECampus Book Returns: all ECampus books can be returned through the Mail Center at no charge and no hassle!  We will supply the boxes, tape, and labels to get the books back in good time.

Before Winter Break: Please visit the Mail Center and pick up any mail in your boxes.

We will be accepting major credit cards for purchases.  (No Terrier Bucks accepted)  We also take cash or checks. The mail room also has a new layout to better serve students! A hallway-facing, larger pick-up window is now available.

All mail and packages, international and local, can be sent from the Mail Center.  Students can also go online to create postage labels and pay for them online.  We will have a cheat sheet with instructions on how to do this.

Policies and Guidelines

  • Terrier Bucks are not accepted as a form of payment. We will now be accepting major credit cards for purchases. Cash and checks are also accepted.
  • Any rental books received through the eCampus Bookstore can be returned thru the mail center at no cost.  We should also be able to estimate the buyback amounts for any book you purchased but no longer want.
  • Please check your email spam folder for notices from the Mail Center and to pick up packages as soon as possible.  We will only keep packages for 2 weeks and then will contact you one final time to ask if you intend to pick up or if we should return to sender. Athletes with packages can contact us and we will hold packages longer if you are away.
  • Packages with no name or a first/last name only will have names written on our white board.  If you have received notification that a package has been delivered and you have not received an email from the Mail Center, come and check the board. You will need to verify where you ordered the package from.
  • Safety and Security will no longer allow students in to pick up packages after closing.  Packages for Amazon, Temu, and others are not usually urgent. They can be picked up while the Mail Center is open.
  • Students can have a roommate or other friend pick up their packages IF the student emails the Mail Center or Calls Ext. 103 (207-859-1103) first to let us know who will be picking it up.  If you do not email, we will need to call you to verify authorized pick up by someone other than the addressee.
  • “No ID, no Package.”  Scanning the Thomas student ID allows us to determine if you have a package and what the package number is so that we give you the correct one.
  • There are no limitations on package size or quantity.
