Greetings, my name is Charlie Foster-Major, and I chose Thomas for a multitude of reasons. Whether it was to further my interest in Lacrosse and sport or shred the mountains of Maine on my skis. But most importantly, it was the close-knit community that drew me here. As an international student, I wanted to avoid feeling isolated and alone in a big campus, so Thomas provided me a family where I felt valued and welcomed.
From the get-go, I immediately utilized the facilities and organized events that are provided for students. To this day, I am glad I tried to get myself out there as much as possible.

Also, the structure is something that isn’t normal on a college this size, it really surprised me, for academics, athletics and student life, Thomas stand alone when compared with all colleges that I visited when doing my college choice.
Thomas has several activities and opportunities for students to do different things, meet new people, create network and more! I am really proud of being part of the community and being able to show people how our small campus is a good place for everyone by giving tours.
