Orientation for Admitted Students
Welcome to Thomas College!
We are so excited to welcome you to campus. Orientation is an important opportunity for new students to get to know our community and the many resources available to you.
As part of orientation programming, you and fellow students will go on a tour, enjoy meals in the Dining Center, and meet with staff members and learn about:

- The Thomas Pledge and Personal Safety
- Academic Resources
- Career Services
- Student Life
- Technology Resources
- Residential Life
Spring Orientation: Jan. 17 - 19, 2026: What to Expect
January 17th: New International Student Move In
January 18th: New International Orientation
January 19th: New Terrier Orientation
- Student IDs:
- If you did not submit your ID photo, you will get your photo taken during check in.
- If you had your ID photo taken already, you will receive your ID during registration if you are a commuter or you’ll receive it from your Resident Assistant if you will live on campus.
- You will be asked to submit any paperwork that you haven’t yet turned in.
- You will receive your parking sticker (if you will have a vehicle on campus).
- You will be able to get your laptop or other devices configured to access the Thomas network.
- You will participate in sessions and activities designed to help you get to know the college and your fellow students better and to give you the tools needed to be successful as a college student.
- You will meet faculty and staff.
- You will learn about support services available to you.
