Michelle Hayes is a former Human Resource and Retail Operations executive with Hannaford Supermarkets and a founding principal of Smith Kjeldgaard & Hayes (www.skhsolutions.com) specializing in executive coaching, leadership development, career transitions and organizational development.
Michelle received her B.S. from Thomas College and continued her education completing the Babson College and University of Chicago Executive Development Programs focused on strategy, finance, marketing and leadership. She has studied extensively with the National Training Laboratories (NTL) and is a certified LEA 360 facilitator.
Michelle has been an active and passionate community leader throughout her career. She is a past Director and Chair of the Board of the Good Shepherd Food Bank. Additional prior board service includes: Portland Symphony Orchestra, Kids First Center, YMCA of Southern Maine, Ketcha Outdoors and Fiddlehead Center for the Arts.
Michelle Hayes lives in Scarborough with her family and enjoys travel, volunteering, book club, golden retrievers, weekends at Saddleback Mountain/Rangeley and as many days as possible on the beaches and trails of Maine!
