Biography
Alisa Meggison was born and raised in Edison, NJ. She escaped the state when she could afford the tolls out! She arrived in Maine in August 1992 to attend graduate school at the Univ. of Maine @ Orono and never left. She lives in Sidney, ME with her two sons, one of whom attends Thomas College in the Criminal Justice program, and a sassy, opinionated chocolate lab named Pepper.
Over the years Alisa has served on the James H. Bean School PTO, as a cub scout leader for Pack 401, and as Selectwoman of Sidney, Maine from 2018 – 2022 and currently serving 2024-Present.
Alisa enjoys quiet, solitude, and service. A lover of math, data, analytics, digital design, and science. An INTJ who is a keen observer of patterns and behaviors. She is a talented proofreader and noticer of minute details!
