Biography
Dr. Donald Cragen is a professor of sport management and business and also serves as the Chair of Thomas College’s award-winning H. Allen Ryan School of Business. He teaches upper level and graduate business courses in multiple disciplines.
Dr. Cragen has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Salem State University, a master’s in sports medicine from Illinois State University, a master’s in project management from Purdue University, a master’s in business administration from Thomas College, and a doctorate degree in sport management from United States Sports Academy. He holds multiple post graduate certifications in business analytics, innovation engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Dr. Cragen has been a business professor at Thomas College for more than 16 years. His background includes positions outside of academia in the roles of Primary Fund Accountant, Collegiate Athletic Director, Entrepreneur and Corporate Governance Expert. His current field of study and research is in LLM – Artificial Intelligence and No Code Machine Learning.
Dr. Donald Cragen is known for his innovative teaching style, dry sense of humor, and commitment to preparing future business leaders.
