Biography

Melissa St. Pierre previously was a tenured professor of psychology at Community College of Philadelphia for over 15 years and has missed working with students to pursue their dreams. She also works part-time as a mental health counselor at a private group practice. She is thrilled to be joining Thomas College this year in the psychology department.

Other roles Melissa has held include employment specialist, academic advisor, and career planning and placement counselor. She owns Honeybee Healing Hive, Yoga, and Wellness located in Auburn, ME, whose mission is to inspire and empower people to cultivate a life of well-being and authentic happiness by merging the modern science of psychology with the ancient wisdom of yoga.
