Nate Pelsma is Executive Director of Business Innovation and Corporate Campus at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine, where he leads the college’s innovation and entrepreneurship programs and develops partnerships between Thomas and the regional business community. He also teaches in the H. Allen Ryan School of Business, bringing the same practical orientation to the classroom that he brings to his work with organizations. He has spent twenty-five years working at the intersection of ideas and the organizations built to execute them.
Through Corporate Campus, Thomas College’s coaching and consulting initiative, Nate works with founders and scaling organizations on the human systems that determine whether good ideas take hold — team dynamics, leadership development, and the cultural infrastructure that growth requires. He is a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths coach.
He brings experience across education, nonprofit, and business — including executive roles at a New York-based biotech investment firm, where he led talent development and organizational growth during a period of rapid scaling. He holds an MBA from Boston College and a BA in English from the University of Kansas.
