The Conservation Law Enforcement concentration in the Criminal Justice program provides students with a strong foundation in the conservation and environmental issues that criminal justice personnel must address in Maine, the New England region, and across the nation. This concentration will prepare students for careers as a Maine Game Warden or a Marine Patrol Officer. Additionally, a student seeking a traditional law enforcement career in Maine (a city or town police officer) will gain knowledge of the environments that are relevant in criminal investigations, such as rural search areas, suspicious drownings, and timber theft.
