Criminal Justice (Cybersecurity Concentration) Degree Overview

A new bachelor’s degree program, beginning Fall 2023.

The Thomas College Criminal Justice degree program with a Cybersecurity Concentration is tailored to criminal justice students seeking and needing a robust understanding of the cyber world and its impact to the criminal justice, homeland security, corporate security, media, financial, manufacturing, and infrastructure industries. As part of Thomas College’s focus on practical training, you’ll receive preparation to discover, investigate, and counter attacks and damages that occur in the cyber world.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 35% growth in employment for security analysts over the next 10 years, meaning the cybersecurity industry continues to be in need of graduates with a functional and comprehensive understanding of the cyber world and its issues. By pursuing this degree, you’ll be ready to enter an in-demand field in a meaningful role as you protect people and property, enforce cyber-related laws and regulations, contribute to criminal investigations, and prevent security breaches.
