Get More Than Just a College Degree

At Thomas College, the social aspect of campus life is part of your personal growth—and we want you to enjoy it. We give you incredible opportunities for co-curricular learning, leadership, and fun diversions from your studies so you can meet people, discover new interests, and learn what truly matters to you.

Campus Activities

Our students enjoy an ever-changing array of activities and there’s something for everyone. On weekends, the Office of Residential Life offers WTF?  (“What’s This Friday?”) and the Office of Student Life hosts Thomas After Dark for all students. You could also find our students running the Terrier Trot 5K Homecoming Race, performing at an open mic night, ice skating on our own outdoor rink in winter, or heading to Canobie Lake Park—to name just a few activities.

Student Organizations

Thomas College is the perfect place to deepen existing interests or try something entirely new. Our students participate in about thirty student organizations, from honor societies to community service to performing arts. Most of these groups open to anyone who is interested regardless of experience level, though a few do involve a selection process.

Recreation

Not all of your time at Thomas College will be spent in the classroom—or your residence hall or even on campus. Our location Waterville offers easy access to a range of landscapes, inviting all sorts of recreation. This is your time to try white water rafting, skiing or snowboarding, disc golf, or hiking. And, even if you don’t consider yourself outdoorsy, it’s easy to stay fit and feel well here: we offer spin classes, meditation, yoga, and more.

Next Steps

There are so many ways to get involved on campus, make friends, build your résumé and experience new things: honor societies and academic clubs, service organizations, fine and performing arts, athletics, recreation and intramurals, and more.
