Adam, a utility worker and a two-year employee of the College, is being recognized as the Terrier STAR of the month for his exceptional customer service, being a team player, providing a personal experience, completion of a project, and improving system/processes.

“I’ve worked with Adam on a number of events and he consistently makes sure that things are done correctly. He is easy to approach if I have questions about current or future events,” said a coworker. “I know that Adam is passionate about Thomas and enjoys interacting with students, faculty, staff and the community.”

Another colleague says his friendly hello and smile goes a long way and combined with his willingness to go the extra mile – even helping outside of his area – is noticed and appreciated.

“He’s a great role model for Thomas students, faculty and staff,” this same colleague added.

Adam is also working towards furthering his education while working at the College and is commended for balancing his academic and work responsibilities: “He knows what he wants and is willing to put in the work to achieve his goals.”

When Adam is not working on succeeding in his work, he’s helping to train others to do great work as well.

“He is patient when training new custodial employees. Even on tough days, Adam takes pride in his work and takes care of us and our facility.”
