Thomas College to Celebrate Class of 2020 with Online Commencement

WATERVILLE, MAINE, June 2020 – Thomas College will celebrate more than 250 graduates virtually with an Online Commencement ceremony on June 20 at 11 a.m.

Graduates will celebrate with their family and friends from home with caps and gowns and diplomas already in hand while watching along on the College’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

“This graduating class of 2020 is a resilient one,” said Thomas College Provost Dr. Thomas Edwards. “They have proven their ability to succeed despite the challenges of the most recent spring. We’re excited about their future prospects and look forward to celebrating with them.”

Attendees will hear speeches from 2020 Commencement speaker Meredith Strang Burgess, CEO & President of Burgess Advertising and Marketing, undergraduate division student Stephen Reid, graduate division student Cassandra Contigiani, and some special guests.
