Thomas College provides peer tutoring at no cost to current students in a variety of subjects, including accounting, computer science, economics, finance, history, management, marketing, math, political science, psychology, science, & writing.
Peer tutors are carefully selected and trained to provided student-centered assistance to students in individual and small-group tutoring sessions. Peer tutors focus on academic skills and goal-setting with students to facilitate active learning. Our program is nationally certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
Peer Tutors are available for virtual and in-person drop-in hours and appointments. Strict health and safety protocols will be followed at all in-person appointments. Sean Adams (Accounting)
Sean is from Bangor, Maine and is an accounting major. He plays sports, video games, and is a huge soccer fan. If you bring up Liverpool FC you are automatically one of his friends. Sean can’t wait to help the community as a peer tutor!
