Jan Landry, Administrative Assistant for Student Affairs, is known for her compassion and giving nature.
Jan, an employee of the College for three years, is being recognized as this month’s Terrier STAR for providing a personalized experience and inspiring environment, her care, and her sense of community.

“Jan is the heart of the Student Affairs Office and works to bring a smile to everyone’s face who enters the suite. She creates a welcoming environment that helps to foster an office atmosphere where others feel comfortable,” said a colleague. “The Student Affairs Office is sort of a one stop shop for all students to come where they need a new ID, or want to file a report, or are simple looking for the right office to go to. No matter what the reason a person is stopping by for, Jan takes the time to listen and meet the individual where they are. Her ability to personalize every interaction helps create a positive individualized experience for anyone who walks through the door.”
“Outside of the office, Jan shows her love for the Thomas College community by always being willing to provide a helping hand,” said a coworker. “Jan makes a lasting impact on our community every day. While her work often happens behind the scenes, her positivity and genuine compassion for others make our campus a better place.”
Congrats, Jan!
