Sue Goddard, Campus Services Coordinator, is known for her cheery personality and work ethic.
Sue, an employee of the College for almost three years, is being recognized as this month’s Terrier STAR for providing a personalized experience and inspiring environment, care and community, and career focus.
“Sue has done a lot to transform the mail room into an inviting environment for students and staff. Sue has added the chalkboard to answer any questions relating to mail, helping to keep the area organized and efficient, always has candy for everyone and does her job with a smile on her face. She loves the students and knows a lot of them by name. Sue really does love Thomas and it shows,” says a coworker.
“Sue is an absolute joy to interact with on a daily basis. The mail room is not a place for the faint of heart and Sue does the work efficiently with a friendly smile,” said a colleague.
“During the holiday season when things can be hectic and a little crazy, it’s nice to have the calm, smiling, and warm presence of a colleague to great you each morning. This is what I experience each morning I come in and say Hello to Sue in the mail room! She is dedicated to her job,” said another colleague.
A senior staff member said, “Sue always provides a friendly and welcoming presence in the lives of students, faculty, and staff every day. She is always looking for ways to improve the service for our students, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service.”
