Suheir Alaskari, Director of Professional and Career Development, is known for her caring nature, collaboration, and tenacity in helping students.
Suheir, an employee of the College for one year, is being recognized as this month’s Terrier STAR for her career focus, her institutional inventiveness, her care, and her sense of community.

“Suheir has been an outstanding leader for PCD this year. Under her leadership, PCD launched the new Thomas College Job and Internship Board, relaunched Thomas Career Badges, and started PCD’s first Instagram account. She and Kiara have worked tirelessly to support students in their internships and job placements. She brings a solutions-oriented mindset to the work, especially when tackling the complicated challenge of on-campus student employment. She leads with kindness, cheer, and a sincerity that shows she truly cares about the work and the people she works with.”
