WATERVILLE, MAINE, June 2025— Thomas College is pleased to announce a partnership with Washington Academy to extend professional and graduate education offerings to about 70 employees at a discounted rate. Washington Academy employees seeking to further their education will receive a generous discount on tuition for all online graduate programs.
Washington Academy is a 233-year-old co-ed independent high school nestled on 100 acres along the stunning coast of Maine in East Machias. Its seventy staff and faculty members are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to be themselves while exploring academics, the arts, outdoor pursuits, or innovation. The Academy’s mission is student-centric, supporting students in finding their unique path while igniting a passion for learning.

Thomas College’s preferred employer partnership program began in 2022 and currently has almost 20 employer partnerships throughout the state, and some internationally.
Thomas College offers a variety of online degrees in their graduate and professional studies division including business, criminology, cybersecurity, education, and concentrations in human resource management and project management.
