International Graduate Admissions FAQ
Thomas College welcomes international graduate students who are seeking a degree. All graduate degree programs have rolling admissions, and applications will be considered for the next available term.
Getting Started
Which Program am I Eligible to Apply for as an International Student?
We are unable to offer admission to international students for online degree programs (except for residents of Bermuda).
Thomas offers one in-person MBA program which is open to all students who have completed a bachelor’s degree in a business related field. The in-person Master of Business Administration program provides students with intensive specialized management education in a wide range of subjects designed to expose students to theoretical and applied business scenarios. A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required for admittance due to the accelerated nature of this in-person program.
To help ensure that a student has the foundational business knowledge necessary to succeed in the program, applicants are encouraged to have competency in statistics, economics, and accounting demonstrated by earning a “C” or better in those courses or related experience. Applicants without coursework in each of these subject areas or direct work experience in these fields may not be eligible for admission.
How Many Entry Terms Are There Each Year?
The in-person MBA program has two entry terms per year, including a Fall entry term each August and a Spring entry term each January.
What Are the Application Deadlines?
Thomas College offers rolling admission for both the Fall and Spring entry terms. The application deadline for Fall entry is mid-June each year, and the application deadline for Spring entry is mid-November each year.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their application as early as possible to accommodate international VISA or I-20 processing deadlines.
Do I Need to Hold an Undergraduate Degree in Business to be Eligible to Apply for the Master of Science in Business Administration Program?
Thomas College does not require that a student hold a specific undergraduate business degree in order to be eligible for admission, but the in-person MBA program expects students to have completed previous coursework in either business or a STEM field.

However, before you pursue the cost of a formal transcript evaluation, if you would like to have a preliminary transcript analysis conducted by our office to see if you have completed the prerequisite coursework expected for admission, you can email an unofficial copy of your transcripts to [email protected] and request that an admissions counselor complete a preliminary review.
