During Ayotte’s tenure as chair of the board, 7,304 degrees were awarded to 6,447 students.

Ayotte is a 1977 alumnus of Thomas College and earned his M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame Graduate School of Business in 1979 and an Honorary Doctorate from Thomas College in 1998.

Conrad Ayotte has helped support and lead a lot of growth at Thomas College during the nearly 40 years serving as a trustee. From the launch of the Guaranteed Job Program in 1999, the construction of several new buildings including the Ayotte Auditorium, Harold Alfond Athletic Center, Bartlett and Hinman Residence Halls, and the Sukeforth Family Sports Center to the addition of new academic programs and 3-year degrees and innovation centers, Ayotte has been here to help Thomas College continue to help students bring their promising futures within reach.

Ayotte is a shareholder and Treasurer of Larkin Express Logistics in Knoxville, TN. He is retired as the long-term CFO of J.S. McCarthy Printers in Augusta, one of New England’s oldest and largest sheet-fed printing operations. Prior to McCarthy Printers, Ayotte was President of Benton Plastics, international provider of custom truck bed-liners; and prior to that was a partner in the public accounting firm of Schatz Fletcher, which is now part of Wipfli, LLC.
