On October 30, retiring President Laurie G. Lachance received the Maine State Chamber of Commerce’s esteemed “Dirigo Award” for her visionary leadership and remarkable contributions to Maine throughout her career. Since 2012, she has made history as the first female and alumna to be president of Thomas College, inspiring countless students along the way.
The Maine State Chamber also debuted it’s 2024 edition of OneVoice Maine Magazine, which pays tribute to Lachance with feature articles about Lachance’s life, career, impact, and legacy, and perspectives from her family, friends, and colleagues.
