Spring 2022 Return to Campus Safely Plan
Thomas College is issuing updates to our safety protocols via our Spring 2022 Return to Campus Safely Plan. These updated protocols are in effect immediately. Please take a moment to review these updates. Adherence to these protocols will give us all the best chance at a safe and healthy season.
U.S. CDC Face Covering Recommendations for Maine
Per updated guidance from the U.S. CDC, persons in counties with “substantial” or “high” levels of COVID-19 community transmission are advised to wear face coverings in public indoor settings.
U.S. CDC updates information daily, which will be updated here.
This is a resource for the Thomas Community and the public to see our policies, testing data, vaccination rate, and more information regarding COVID-19.
This table will be updated weekly on Thursday morning and as circumstances dictate. The time stamp reflects when the last update was made. Positive tests are a combination of self-reported and surveillance testing from a subset of campus.
Following Maine CDC guidelines, if you are asked to quarantine or isolate, it is now only for 5-days. Recognizing that our dashboard shows an 8-day positivity rate, there may be differences between our positivity number and 5-day isolation and/or quarantine number. This is expected.
|Total Number of Unique Individuals with First Positive On-Campus or Self-Reported Test (in the last 8 days)||5|
|Total Number of Unique Individuals Currently In Quarantine/Isolation||0|
|% Community Fully Vaccinated||74.5%|
